Great place to stay when visiting Willamette Valley’s northern wineries. Public areas and rooms were very clean. Hotel staff give wonderful customer service while being professional. Breakfast was basic but good. Easy drive to Downtown Newberg, McMinnville, and surrounding areas. I highly recommend.
I’ve stayed at over a dozen different Fairfields in my life, and this one is definitely the best one. Here they’ve introduced the novel concept of a wine bar, and it works splendidly here. It enhances guest-guest interaction in a way that you just don’t see with other properties, and I’d love to see this concept rolled out elsewhere.
The lobby is warm with a welcoming fireplace lots of seating and a wine themed wood decor and wine bar. the complimentary breakfast buffet is very nice , all of the Fairfield favorites, and lots of seating which extends outside next to the pool with several firepit tables surrounded by cozy couches. The rooms are a very nice clean, simple, open design with spacious desk and bathroom counters.
Great little place to stay. Good location. Has a daily breakfast, nice fitness center, and a small wine bar to sample local wines.
Never before have I stayed in a place that provided this level of service. David and Ladonna in the kitchen are wonderful people. Stephanie and David at the morning desk are as well. I miss being there already and look forward to returning as soon as I can.
If you're looking for a comfortable spot out in Newberg, the Fairfield is a great option. Service here was 10/10. They offer a free taste of wine daily, free breakfast, and have free parking. Note that they clean the rooms every other day, so dont immediately toss your towels on the floor like I did. 4/5 on rooms because of this. Its not a Ritz Carlton property, but it is great for what you need, and the service was excellent!
We stayed here for a few nights while exploring wineries/vineyards in the surrounding area. Very convenient, very professional and helpful staff, and a fun wine tasting bar. Rooms are very nice and the gym is one of the better hotel gyms I've seen. Highly recommend
This is a fantastic new hotel. The staff was awesome and the front desk manager was so helpful and friendly. I was actually surprised that I didn't get a survey after staying here or I would have given her Kudos! My only complaint about the rooms ..... and it is a big deal to me, was there were no full length mirrors in the rooms or anywhere in the hotel. I'm hoping they add those before my next visit. Booking here again will probably depend on the mirrors.
